

The department has ten employees with over 100 years of experience in Public Works. The Public Works Department consists of one division that takes care of all Borough maintenance. The Borough provides electric service to over 4,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers and is responsible for all maintenance and upgrades to the distribution system, including traffic signals and street lighting. Electric sales allow for a higher level of services from Police, Fire and Public Works departments with less impact to local taxes.
